Cole’s Sets Guinness World Record

GRAND RAPIDS, October 5, 2009 – Cole’s has set a Guinness World Record for the Longest Garlic Bread. The Longest Garlic Bread measured 150 inches, (12.5 feet) and was made in Muskegon, Michigan on June 12, 2009. The loaf was displayed during this summer’s Taste of Muskegon event and was tied to the County’s 150th birthday celebration. The Cole’s team engineered a specially fabricated pan and followed the exact process used to bake their consumer products to produce the record setting loaf of garlic bread. In mid September, Guinness World Records adjudicated the evidence of the record setting attempt and confirmed the new Guinness World Record with an official certificate to commemorate Cole’s achievement.
