COLE'S ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCTION AND OPERATIONS

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., January 3, 2005 – Cole’s is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Jeffrey R. Lewandoski to the position of V.P. of Production & Operations for Cole’s Quality Foods, Inc. Jeff will begin employment with the company on Monday, January 3, 2005.

An engineering graduate of the University of Utah, Jeff comes to Cole’s from The Dennis Engineering Group, LLC, a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm that specializes in the design and construction of food processing facilities. As a licensed Professional Engineer, Jeff has been responsible for nearly 50 food processing projects ranging from start-up plants, to building/process expansions of existing facilities.

Jeff Lewandoski demonstrates the skills required to continue the operational excellence we have come to expect within our operations. His mindset is one of team building, leading by example, continuous improvement and respect for Cole’s employees. We are proud to have him as a member of our team.

Jeff, his wife Jamie and children, Katie, 5, Jace, 3 and Matthew, 1, will be relocating to the area within several weeks. Please join me in welcoming them to the Cole’s team!
