Cole's was founded as a neighborhood bakery in 1943 by L. Carroll Cole.

Wesley S. Devon joined Cole's in the early 1970's and introduced the first frozen garlic bread which ultimately created the Frozen Garlic Bread Category

Wes' son, Scott Devon took over the business in 1990 and expanded the company's offerings into a variety of distinct, innovative products; including Texas Toast, Breadsticks and Cheesesticks.

In 2001, Cole's was the first in the category to offer a complete product line that goes from freezer to table in 10 minutes or less.

Cole's distributes its products in grocery stores nationwide.
