Spaghetti & Meatballs


For the meatballs:

1 lb. lean ground beef

1 cup bread fresh bread crumbs

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp. Worsteshire sauce

1 T fresh parsley

1 T Parmesan cheese, grated

½ tsp. garlic powder

Salt/pepper to taste


For the sauce:

½ cup onion, chopped

3 to 5 garlic cloves, mined

¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

2 cans whole peeled tomatoes, 28 oz. each

1 can tomato paste, 6 oz.

1 tsp. white sugar

1 whole bay leaf

Salt/pepper to taste

Cole’s 5 Cheese Garlic Bread



Heat Cole’s 5 Cheese Garlic Bread according to instructions on package.

To make the meatballs, use a large bowl and combine all the meatball ingredients together. Mix well and form into approximately 12 balls. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Meanwhile, for the sauce, heat a large saucepan over medium heat adding the olive oil. Add onion and garlic and sauté until translucent. Stir in the rest of the sauce ingredients, cover, reduce heat to low and allow to simmer 90 minutes. Stir in the meatballs and simmer for approximately 30 minutes more.  Garnish with fresh basil and enjoy with Cole’s 5 Cheese Garlic Bread.
